Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000

The concept of quality has been firmly ingrained at Gorenje Indop since the company first ventured on the market of machine building. The market situation is forcing us to keep improving the quality of our products and services, thereby establishing our image and strengthening our brand name. In 1996 the company decided to ensure quality management by implementing a Quality System in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements. We acquired the certificate on 24 December 1996, following the audit and evaluation by the BVQI certification body. The system, once implemented, has been successfully maintained and subject to continuous improvements. By instituting a new organisation structure, process orientation and appropriate customer relations, by improved quality and by consistently meeting our contractual obligations we succeeded in winning the trust of numerous customers in Slovenia and abroad, and increasing their satisfaction.

In July 2002 we adopted a plan to make the transition from ISO 9001 to the new standard, ISO 9001:2000. The activities required for the augmentation of the Quality System started in July 2002 and the process was successfully completed in early March 2003.

By making the decision to bring our business operations in line with ISO 9001:2000, the French automotive standard EAQF and ISO 14001, we have demonstrated our commitment to fulfilling the criteria required for us to be part of the group of successful machine building companies.
