On 21 January 2003 a control audit and evaluation of the Environmental Management System as per ISO 14001 was carried out at Gorenje Indop. The audit was performed by external auditors Mr Igor Štubelj and Mr Rasto Jurca of the BVQI certification body. The evaluation included all company business areas. Gorenje Indop successfully passed the audit (no inconsistencies were found) thus confirming our own conclusions that our environmental management was actually sound, fulfilling all legislative requirements, raising the environmental awareness of our staff, and that our short- and long-term objectives were in fact relevant and appropriate.
At Gorenje Indop d.o.o. we successfully manage and continually reduce any negative impact on the environment. We are committed to efficient use of raw materials and energy, reduction of technological waste and, in particular, appropriate use of hazardous substances and appropriate disposal of resulting hazardous waste.
