The company Indop, d. o. o., headquartered in Šoštanj, was established in February 2007 by the Gorenje Group. The primary purpose of establishing the company was for the production of equipment for the defence industry. Our main initial activities were focused on defining the design obligations for the manufacture of AMV-Patria vehicles - "Project 8x8". In the same year, we obtained a permit for the manufacture of light wheeled armoured vehicles and a national safety certificate.
In the year 2008, we received an EU and NATO certificate and continued with the transfer of technology related to the assembly of eight-wheel vehicles, purchase activities for the entire production with qualified suppliers of Patria and search for new suppliers in
Slovenia
. This year, we have successfully established a production process for assembly of the vehicles.
Due to free capacities, we started intense development and production of CHP units of various power and types in 2011.
Beside production, we also provide maintenance and servicing of the units, which is of key importance for proper and flawless functioning of units throughout their operational life.
